Some Stuff About Me

I think we're super lucky to be living in a time where it's possible to turn your passion into work. Having grown up deep in the trenches of almost every nerdy subculture you can think of (and spending way too much time online) I decided to switch things up by completing a Master of Digital Communications and Culture, all to figure out how to make pop culture part of my job.

I then began agency life at We Are Social, working with clients that gave me a huge variety of experience, including TikTok, Moët Hennessy, The Woolmark Company, and Activision Blizzard. Client Service is tough af, but taught me the end-to-end process of content production with clients of all sizes.

I moved onto Pedestrian Group because working for Kotaku Australia sounded like a dream. Not only did I work as a Social Media Producer for Kotaku, but also for Gizmodo Australia and Lifehacker Australia, creating and posting at least three videos daily. To say the job was fast-paced is an understatement - and capitalising on trends and cultural moments was essential to succeeding in the role.

Social media is a wild beast that nobody's got fully figured out. But that's the beauty of the challenge.

What I’m Good At

Social Strategy

As a chronically online social media native, I’m super passionate about finding a brand’s unique online identity.

How can we find the perfect balance of creating content that’ll resonate with audiences (and get us that sweet engagement), but also stick with the brand’s values?

Content Planning

At Pedestrian Group, I ran the social media accounts of three separate sites, ensuring to publish at least four videos per week for each site. This high level of output required I stay on top of social trends, and turn around content quickly.

My bread and butter is creating content plans based on a brand's goals and audience, whether that’s more long-term or day-to-day.

Content Editing

I love looking at drafts of editorial content, whether that’s in a written or video format, and working with the creator to enhance what they’ve made.

I believe collating feedback is a collaborative process, the skills for which I’ve honed across my time at Pedestrian Group and We Are Social. Show me the content your brand puts together, and I'll work with you to elevate it further!
